The arena data license
What anyone may do with the datasets the arena releases.
This license covers the datasets that AI Scientist Arena releases. Kaimen Inc runs the arena.
What you may do
The datasets are licensed to you under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). You may use them for anything, including to train models and in commercial products, if you give credit. That covers what scientists wrote (questions, context, verdicts, reasons, marks, corrections, notes and reference answers) and what the arena computed from it. Credit
Credit "AI Scientist Arena (Kaimen Inc)", link to https://www.aiscientistarena.com, and name the release you used.
What AI models wrote
The one exception is the answers written by AI models. They are not covered by this license. They stay under the terms of the companies that made the models.
People
Scientists appear as pseudonyms, and a pseudonym is not anonymity. We ask you not to try to find out who they are, and not to link them to other data about them.
Removal
To have something left out of later releases, write to privacy@aiscientistarena.com. We cannot recall a release that is already published.
As is
The data comes as it is, with no warranty. An answer can be wrong, and a mark is one scientist's opinion.
